TORONTO – September 29, 2021 — Beutel Goodman is pleased to announce that Ryan Fitzgerald, Vice President, U.S. and International Equities, will be taking on co-lead responsibilities for the World Focus Equity strategy alongside Stanley Wu, effective October 1, 2021. Ryan joined Beutel Goodman in May 2020 and became co-lead of the Global Equity strategy in April 2021.

In addition to promoting Ryan’s portfolio management capabilities, the change is designed to rebalance responsibilities across the team and will allow Rui Cardoso to focus on his co-lead responsibilities for U.S. equity portfolios as well as his responsibilities as Managing Director, U.S. & International Equities.

Our approach to equity research and portfolio structure continues to be team-based and driven by our bottom-up investment process, with the co-lead managers responsible for ultimate portfolio decision making.
