TORONTO — January 7, 2024 — Beutel, Goodman & Company Ltd. (“Beutel Goodman”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Jones to Beutel Goodman’s Canadian Equities team as an Analyst, effective January 1, 2025.

“After placements with each of our fixed income, U.S. & international equities and Canadian equities teams, Ryan successfully completed our internal investment team rotation program,” said Steve Arpin, Managing Director, Canadian Equities. “During the two-year-long rotation program, Ryan refined his fundamental research skills and developed a foundational understanding of public companies across a range of sectors and geographies. He also established a keen grasp on Beutel Goodman’s disciplined equity process, which will serve him well in his new role with the Canadian equity team.”

Ryan joined Beutel Goodman in 2017, and during his tenure has held progressively senior positions across multiple departments, including Performance Analyst; Associate, SMA Implementation and Execution; and Equity Trading Associate. He holds a degree in Economics and Financial Management from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a CFA Charterholder.
