TORONTO – August 21, 2024 – Beutel, Goodman & Company Ltd. (“Beutel Goodman”) wishes to provide an update on succession planning and upcoming changes to the institutional client service team.
Appointment of Kimberley Woolverton
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Kimberley Woolverton, who will join the firm to lead our institutional client service team as Senior Vice President, Client Service and Business Development in October 2024.
“Kimberley brings a wealth of experience and industry contacts in Canada, the U.S. and overseas,” said Rui Cardoso, Managing Director, U.S & International Equities. “Most recently the head of distribution for an independent asset manager and with a background in institutional client service spanning 20 years, we are confident that Kimberley will provide our clients with the high-quality service they expect from Beutel Goodman, and bring experienced leadership to our institutional client service team.”
Kimberley is actively involved with the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE), currently as a member of the Canadian board of directors, after serving as the president of the Canadian chapter and as a member of the U.S. board of directors for 12 years. She is a CFA charterholder and a graduate of McGill University.
Upcoming Retirement of Craig Auwaerter in Q2/2025
Beutel Goodman also announces that Craig Auwaerter, Senior Vice President, Client Service and Business Development, plans to retire from the firm at the end of the second quarter of 2025.
“As a successful investment professional with more than 31 years of experience—14 of them with Beutel Goodman—Craig has contributed greatly to Beutel Goodman and our clients’ success,” said Steve Arpin, Managing Director, Canadian Equities. “He will be missed, and we wish him all the best in his upcoming retirement.”
As Kimberley joins and Craig begins the process of transferring his client service responsibilities before retiring, Tim Hylton, Senior Vice President, Client Service and Business Development, will increase his focus on client service and business development activities in Canada and the U.S.
We invite all our clients and partners to join us in welcoming Kimberley to Beutel Goodman, and to congratulate Craig on a well-earned upcoming retirement.
