TORONTO – Aug 12, 2022— Beutel Goodman wishes to announce that after more than three decades on our fixed income investment team, David Gregoris, Managing Director, Fixed Income, plans to retire from Beutel Goodman on June 30, 2023.

Over the past 10 years, David has strategically built the fixed income team with eventual succession in mind. As such, we are pleased to announce that following David’s departure, Derek Brown, MBA, CFA, Senior Vice President and Co-Head of Fixed Income, will become Head of Fixed Income, overseeing the strategy and direction of Beutel Goodman’s fixed income team.

Additionally, we are pleased to announce that Sue McNamara, CFA, Senior Vice President, Fixed Income, will assume the role of Head of Credit for the fixed income team, effective immediately. In addition to her credit role, Sue has also been appointed to the position of Head of Responsible Investing for Beutel Goodman. In this role, Sue will oversee Beutel Goodman’s ESG efforts and governance, including our ESG approach, framework, communication, and execution.

We would like to thank David for his significant contributions and commitment to Beutel Goodman over the past 30 years.  He will leave a team of investment professionals that we are confident will help us continue to create long-term wealth for our clients.
